E-CAMPUS | GRAPHICS AND COURSE DEVELOPMENT
2021-2022

INITIATIVE

Under the supervision of Martha Attridge Bufton (Carleton University) and Marta Samokishyn (St. Paul University), I provided design support for the development of first-year seminar online textbook Imagine, Question, Search, Synthesize: Critical foundations for undergraduate research. I created the cover design, interior illustrations, explanatory graphics, and overall layout. I additionally revised existing course graphics and developed an evolved visual identity.

The Pressbook can be accessed here.

textbook cover

The cover design took many iterations to find the balance of photography and graphic elements. The final design features photography while tying in the circle and line pattern seen throughout the textbook graphics.

module banners

These were meant to be eye-catching, light-hearted illustrations to open each module.

course diagrams

I created a variety of explanatory diagrams to be used in the course slides.
